Hand stripping a dog’s coat requires regular grooming sessions. Some dogs don’t like hand stripping, and so a decision can be made to make the dog’s life easier by switching to clipping instead.
Sensitive Skin
If the dog has skin conditions, allergies, or sores, hand stripping will aggravate these conditions. Clipping the dog will be the safest option.
