Belly Strap
This fastens around the dog’s abdomen and is secured to the ‘H’ bar of the grooming table. This means both the groomer’s hands are free to work on the dog because the dog cannot sit down.
Neck Strap
This fastens around the dog’s neck and attaches to the ‘H’ bar. It should be adjusted to a length that will make sure the dog cannot leave the table. This prevents the dog from jumping off the table and injuring itself.
Hammock/Sling
This is used to suspend the dog from the ‘H’ bar. The dog’s legs are placed through the holes, which means you can work on the dog’s legs/nails without being bitten as the dog is unable to turn around.
Happy Strap
This is a bit like a harness to secure the dog to the ‘H’ bar on the grooming table. Instead of a neck strap, which can put pressure on the dog’s neck and throat, the happy strap secures the dog by its chest. It is useful for dogs who are brachycephalic, have a collapsed trachea, or dogs that pull on a neck strap.
